Carol is a lifelong sewer and former fabric store owner and machine dealer. She's taught thousands of students in North America and Australia how to use any sewing machine to its fullest potential. She is known for her best-selling book Fine Machine Sewing and for her contributions to Threads Magazine and for 22 yrs. to Creative Needle Magazine.

Carol is now the distributor of heirloom sewing tools that are made using the best traditional English finishing methods. Victorian-style chatelaines, needle cases, sewing compendiums, scissors, laying tools, pewter pincushions and seam rippers are available, but in limited quantities because many of them are no longer being made. The quality of these tools is so well established that highly-regarded needlework schools carry them.

Carol welcomes you to her website where you will find information about her classes, her schedule, her biography, her books and sewing products, and exceptional heirloom tools.
